The ION I6 integrates Red, Amber, Blue and White (and selectable Green) into a single compact LED lighthead, purpose-built for grille and surface mount warning applications on emergency, utility and tactical vehicles.

ION I6 Wiring & 7-Wire Color Control

The ION I6 uses a 7-wire harness with three priority power inputs and dedicated color-change / pattern controls:

Red (+) = ON/OFF 1 (primary power)
Blue (+) = ON/OFF 2 (overrides Red)
Brown (+) = ON/OFF 3
Yellow wire = flash-pattern cycle / Master–Slave / Sync–Alternate
Green wire = instant color change (power required)
White wire = steady-on override (overrides all)
Black (−) = Ground

17 ION I6 Flash Patterns

Selectable patterns: Single_75, Power_Pulse, Road_Runner, S_slow, S_fast, S2_slow, S2_fast, Double_75, Double, Double2, Double_slow, Double_fast, Quad_75, Quad_fast, Quad_slow, Quint, Ultra_fast. Cycle with the yellow wire, synchronize multiple ION I6 units, or alternate them across the vehicle.

Grille & Surface Mount Installation

The ION I6 installs using a #8 x 1/2″ Gripper Bracket, Sheet Metal Bracket, or VHB tape (optional). The vented membrane must always face downward — do NOT cover, obstruct or remove it regardless of mounting style, as it is required for pressure equalization and long-term reliability.
